Our experienced Case Managers are trained to provide detailed, and individualized solutions for rehabilitation and recovery. The process begins by pairing a Case Manager with the family. The Case Manager then conducts a thorough assessment of a person’s current status, history, and assessment of medical records to develop a plan with recommendations. Our Case Managers have a deep understanding of resources and barriers that may exist throughout the continuum of services.

The burden can seem insurmountable, but with the right professionals in place, you can overcome.

Catastrophic Case Management

What Can a Case Manager Provide?

Client Advocacy

Having a professional on your side means equal footing when it comes to big decisions. Our clients have years of experience behind them with Feinberg Consulting’s advocacy. A case manager designs a consolidated and detailed plan, utilizing all resources available.

Rehabilitation Coordination

Our collective experience and decades of service have allowed us to compile a database of trusted resources and strong relationships with medical professionals. Our case managers will identify the specific resources that will allow clients to make informed decisions.

Transitional Planning

There is life beyond the hospital or rehabilitation facility, and it can be difficult at first. The last thing anyone wants to deal with is additional setbacks. Our case managers create a plan for transition, which is in line with a clients’ recovery goals.

The Coach of Your Care Team

A case manager brings unity to the treatment team, collaborating with: physicians, other rehabilitation providers, attorneys, insurance adjusters, and the clients’ families. The case manager creates a central hub through which all of the information is gathered and maintained – clients have a “go to” person.

Cost Efficiency

With early intervention, the case manager will coordinate a plan that reduces duplication of services, while receiving optimal care for greater outcomes. Our case managers work to prevent duplication of services, setbacks, and ultimately create greater outcomes that are cost effective.

Recovery Consulting

Following a catastrophic car accident, injured individuals are often prescribed opioids to relieve pain. Regular or long-term use of opioids can lead to physical dependence, which can result in increased medical costs and a prolonged rehabilitation process.

Our Recovery Consulting program is designed to help identify and facilitate appropriate treatment for individuals struggling with chemical dependency as a direct result of the injuries and trauma sustained from a motor vehicle accident.

Recovery Management Program

A comprehensive assessment is required for all clients before services can begin. The assessment is conducted by a Recovery Consultant, who has the education and experience necessary to identify and develop an individualized recovery plan that is tailored to the client’s specific needs.

Recovery Plan
After the assessment has been completed, a detailed recovery plan is developed. Recovery plans may include treatment recommendations, recovery coaching, alternative pain management modalities, transitional living programs, therapy, recovery goals, and random drug screens.

To support the client’s in achieving their recovery goals, the Recovery Consultant provides ongoing advocacy and oversight of the recovery plan. This is done by communicating with the client’s Case Manager, collaborating with the Recovery Coach, and providing status updates to the Claims Adjuster.

The recovery plan may include the client’s enrollment in random drug and alcohol testing. The Recovery Consultant collaborates with the client and the Claims Adjuster to create consequences for missed or failed tests.
