• Assist with implementation of doctor recommended accommodations in the school.
• Assures placement of the student according to proper educational and environmental conditions.
• Participates in educational, vocational, and transition goal planning with the rehabilitation team, IEP committees, and families.
• Works as a patient advocate and assists families in obtaining services within their school district.
• Monitors student’s progress in the classroom.
• Provides monthly report regarding cognitive/learning progress in school setting.

 

Vocational Rehabilitation Consulting

• Evaluate an individual to determine their ability to work. 
• Help those eligible develop rehabilitation plans aimed at vocational placement.  
• Work with the individual, their medical and mental health team to explore options for ability to work. 
• Career counseling and guidance will be provided as well as job placement and monitoring.
