EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT
- Cost containment with utilization of school resources in lieu of private funding.
- Liaison between the rehabilitation team, medical providers, schools and families
- Attends meetings as appropriate to obtain status and recommendations and assist with treatment planning.
- Assist with implementation of doctor recommended accommodations in the school.
- Assures placement of the student according to proper educational and environmental conditions.
- Participates in educational, vocational, and transition goal planning with the rehabilitation team, IEP committees, and families.
- Works as a patient advocate and assists families in obtaining services within their school district.
- Monitors student’s progress in the classroom.
- Provides monthly report regarding cognitive/learning progress in school setting.
