EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT

Cost containment with utilization of school resources in lieu of private funding.
Liaison between the rehabilitation team, medical providers, schools and families
Attends meetings as appropriate to obtain status and recommendations and assist with treatment planning.
Assist with implementation of doctor recommended accommodations in the school.
Assures placement of the student according to proper educational and environmental conditions.
Participates in educational, vocational, and transition goal planning with the rehabilitation team, IEP committees, and families.
Works as a patient advocate and assists families in obtaining services within their school district.
Monitors student’s progress in the classroom.
Provides monthly report regarding cognitive/learning progress in school setting.
